Blue Marlin Media, LLC, was founded by Jim and Alex Skelton in December of 2019. Offering a variety of skillsets from photography, cinematography, drone still and motion imagery, graphic design, social media management, and branding just to name a few. Blue Marlin Media, LLC is located in Carteret County, North Carolina but offers services throughout the state and nation-wide. 
Alexandra Skelton

Alex is a 2016 graduate of North Carolina State University and is currently employed as a full-time program director for the State of North Carolina. Alex is currently pursuing a Masters of Communication at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is expected to graduate in the fall of 2023. She is a dedicated wife and a loving mother to a very lucky 3-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever named Dixie. Alex has extensive experience in marketing in communications creating web-sites, managing social media pages, brand development, working with news agencies, and graphic design.
Jim Skelton

Jim is a 10-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marine Corps he served in many roles but mostly as a Combat Cameraman. Throughout his unique and successful career as a Marine he was selected to attend the Military Visual Journalism program at Syracuse University where he graduated in May of 2019. Upon graduating from Syracuse, he received orders to the Pentagon where he served as a Communications Strategy & Operations Chief, creating strategic communications products specifically for the Commandant and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps. While at the Pentagon, Jim served as the project manager, lead editor and cinematographer for the Emmy Award winning 2019 Marine Corps Birthday Message. The following year, Jim worked as the co-editor for another Emmy Award winning, 2020 Marine Corps Birthday Message. Jim was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps in May 2021 and returned to Carteret County to serve his community through visual storytelling. Jim has also attended the University of Alabama with a focus in business and East Carolina University with a focus in Communications.
